Marcus Stroman DivisionPee Wee / Tee Ball (Ages 5, 6, and first year 7s)Players will practice (tentatively) two days per week (Tuesdays @ 5:45pm and Saturdays @ TBD ) at Tuley Park (9100 S. King Drive, Chicago, IL 60619). Play will consist of learning the fundamentals of baseball including running, throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding. Our athletes will build up their skills int he game through rigorous drills and exercises. The focus at this level is the development of the athlete's knowledge base and fundamentals. Intersquad games are played but no scores are kept and all players have the opportunity to play. At the end of the season, beginner athletes should be able to identify all of the bases and positions on the field, correctly run the bases, effectively hit the ball from the tee, and play catch with an adult. Maximum of 13 athletes per team.

Ages 7 (returning) and 8 Tee Ball / Coach Pitch Players will practice two days a week (Thursdays at 5:45pm and Saturdays at TBD) at Tuley Park and play one game on the weekend. Returning athletes will build on the skill set developed in Pee Wee / Tee Ball. New athletes will learn the fundamentals of baseball, including running, throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding. At the end of the season our athletes should be able to accurately throw to their teammates, field ground and fly balls, hit coach pitches, and independently run the bases. Maximum of 13 athletes per team.

Players will practice and/or play game three to four times per week (dates/times TBD), with all practices taking place at Tuley Park. Games will be at Tuley Park or other locations within a 10-15 minute ride from Tuley Park.
